The VOLK Diesel Platform Truck DFW 2 can be optionally equipped with a heater. It provides for a
pleasant climate in the driver’s cab very quickly even on cold winter days. Two fan openings on the vehicle’s dash board can be individu-
ally adjusted in outlet direction, angle and diameter. In conjunction with another fan opening
in the vehicle’s foot-
well they ensure that the hot air is optimally dosed and distributed in the cab. Two selector switches are used for multi-stage regulation of the heat and the air volume. The required heat energy is won by
using the waste heat of the diesel engine with a heat exchanger.
