The
VOLK Diesel Tow Tractor DFZ 30 N is serially equipped with a Rockinger 230 bolt coupling which is usually sufficient for maneuvering jobs.
During hard daily use as a towing vehicle, however, it is advisable to use a self-closing automatic coupling such as the Rockinger 245 B coupling. This makes hitching easier because the driver only has to back the vehicle up to
the trailer – the coupling closes and locks automatically at the same time. In addition an automatic coupling is very safe because nobody has to step between the vehicles during hitching.
To simplify the driver’s work
even further, the automatic coupling Rockinger 245 B can be combined on request with an automatic remote unlocking device which can be conveniently operated from the driver’s seat.
The
Rockinger 245 B model is suitable for towing eyes with an inside diameter of 35 mm or 40 mm. The coupling height can be variably adjusted to your individual require-
ments.
