The
VOLK Electric Tow Tractor EFZ 80 N can optionally be fitted with inching controls with automatically engaged and disengaged brakes. This system is mounted at the rear side of the vehicle in an easily accessible waist high position. It
helps the operator to carefully shunt the vehicle for- and backwards during the hitching process (max. driving range set to 30 cm by default). If the for-/backward buttons are released the vehicle’s parking brake is automatically
engaged, thus stopping the vehicle. In an emergency situation the vehicle can also be stopped immediately by a red mushroom-type emergency stop button.
