The
VOLK Electric Tow Tractor EFZ 8 K has a charge level indicator with an integrated hour meter as a standard feature. The combined instrument is mounted in the cen-
ter of the dashboard and therefore can be easily read by the driver.
The current charge level of the traction batteries is shown by a total of 10 light emitting diodes. They glow green initially, start to turn yellow as the battery charge decrea-
ses and finally turn red when the battery is
almost empty. When the residual capacity of 30 % is reached, the light emitting diodes also start flashing to warn the driver. If required, the charge level indicator can be easily adapted to the specific application conditions of the
vehicle to ensure maximum accuracy even for unusual application profiles.
An integrated hour meter records the operating hours of the vehicle at the same time. The current meter reading is reliably saved by an EEPROM and is
stored for 25 years even without an additional support battery.
