The VOLK Hybrid Tractor HFZ 20 N is serially equipped with an automatic parking brake. The spring-activated drum brake is automatically activated whenever the vehic-
le stops. Thus the vehicle is held safely even on slopes. The parking brake is automatically released as soon as the driver steps on the drive pedal.

It is also possible to disengage the parking brake manu-
ally (e.g. when the vehicle needs to be towed). The brake can be easily accessed using the service hatch in the vehicle’s rear loading area.
