Munich, 12.10.2009 – Inter Airport Europe, the leading international exhibition for airport equipment and com-
plementary services, took place in Munich from October 6-9, 2009.
Although the after-effects of the economic crisis are still obvious everywhere, the timing of this exhibition could not have been better. Despite the
considerable slumps in global freight and passenger volumes, traffic develop- ment will only temporarily lag behind the long-term growth trajectories.
While presently operational necessities still require ad-
justing the equipment pools to match the reduced trans- port volumes, it is already necessary from a strategic point of view to prepare for the approaching recovery in order to optimally benefit from the from the economic upswing.
The Inter Airport is certainly an ideal forum to get an
